ADVANCED LEVEL

  • Entry

    • To access this course you need to be over 18 years of age, be an active umpire and hold a FIH Hockey Academy Foundation Level Certificate or equivalent.

  • Overview

    • This is a practical course supported by one of two online theoretical courses: Complete Umpiring and Complete Technical Official (both in development). The length will vary according to breadth and depth of the contents covered. This is decided by the course organiser and the FIH Hockey Academy.

    During the course you will develop your competencies in specific areas with the help of FIH Hockey Academy Umpire or Technical Official Educators.

  • Delivery

    • This course is delivered by your National Association and Continental Federation in partnership with the FIH.

  • Certificate

    • You will be awarded an Advanced Level Certificate upon completion of the course.

  • Verification

    • This course is verified by the FIH through feedback from the FIH Hockey Academy Umpire or Technical Official Educators, the candidates and other stakeholders.
