The Indian Women's Hockey Team will embark on a mission to win their second Women's Asian Champions Trophy. India claimed their maiden title in 2016 in Singapore with a 2-1 win over China in the Final. With the 7th edition of the prestigious biennial event being held in India for the first time, the Indian Women's Hockey Team will be vying to finish on top of the podium to end the seven-year wait.

After a historic fourth-place finish at the Tokyo Olympics, India have been in good form over the past couple of years, stacking up a Bronze-medal finish at the Commonwealth Games and a Gold medal win at the inaugural FIH Nations Cup last year.
