Delighted to be in Paris for the upcoming Olympic Games! I reached the City of Light on Thursday and have been busy interacting with many stakeholders from the Olympic movement since then. Amongst others, I participated to a very fruitful and constructive Olympic Solidarity Commission Meeting, attended by IOC President Thomas Bach and chaired by Robin Mitchell, IOC EB Member and President of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC). I really admire the professional job done by the Olympic Solidarity Department, under the leadership of James Macleod, that provides a great service to the global sport development, the global Olympic movement enhancement, and also the global development of our young and professional athletes.
