A few weeks after your first ever Indoor World Cup title, have you started to realise what you’ve achieved?
It still feels unreal that we became the World Champions. I think none of us expected that. But it still feels great that is for sure.
Is it a “dream come true”?
It is definitely a dream come true. This is the medal that I really dreamt of and the one that I always wanted to have in my collection. And personally, being awarded MVP of the tournament is like a cherry on top of my hockey career.
What are the main factors that led to this success?
We were really focused on us, and to play our style of game, trusting in our strengths as individuals and a collective. Defending hard, being patient, and then capitalizing on the opportunities we created.
What will this great achievement bring to the development of hockey in Poland?
I hope that this success will allow us to create a stronger training environment to continue to develop. And Hopefully, we have inspired some of the Polish hockey players.
