USFHA: USA Field Hockey has named Sascha Roth to the position of National Teams Assistant Director.

In her new position, Roth will oversee the planning and implementation of events and programs for the USA Men's National Team as well as assisting with other National Team events.

ÔÇ£I am very excited about the opportunity to work with USA Field Hockey and the Olympic Movement,ÔÇØ Roth said. ÔÇ£It's an organization with a tremendous amount of opportunity for personal and professional growth, and I look forward to working will all of the USA Field Hockey staff, athletes and coaches.ÔÇØ

Prior to joining the USA Field Hockey staff, Roth worked as the hospitality coordinator for Eclipse Television and Sports Marketing for the Jeep King of the mountain biking world championship.

ÔÇ£She possesses a strong background in event coordination and sport administration as well as a dedication to the Olympic Movement. We're very pleased to have her as part of our team as we look ahead to next year's Pan American Games and beyond.ÔÇØ
A 2003 graduate of The George Washington University, Roth earned her Master of tourism administration with a concentration in sport and event management in 2005.

Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Roth will begin her duties with USA Field Hockey in early February when she joins the USA men's and women's teams for a series of contests against Dutch club teams in Chula Vista, Calif.
