Hockey teams from New Jersey and Pennsylvania captured top honors in dramatic fashion on the final day of action at USA Field Hockey's newest event, Disney's Field Hockey Showcase, at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex.

New Jersey's Spirit of USA (Vincentown, N.J.) opened the day's drama with in the Under-14 division title with a 1-0 penalty stroke win over Jersey Intensity (Monmouth, N.J.) in the championship game. Kentucky's IFHCK Thoroughbreds (Louisville, Ky.) won the bronze medal with a 2-0 win over Virginia's Canes (Fredericksburg, Va.).

Penalty strokes also decided the winner of the U16 division with WC Eagles (Spring City, Pa.) edging IFHCK Fire (Louisville, Ky.) 1-0 in the tiebreaking-competition to take the team trophy. British Columbia's Adanacs won the U16 bronze medal with a 4-2 win over Long Island Guppies (Saint James, N.Y.)

The WC Eagles captured their second title of the day when the club's U19 team scored two second half goals on its way to a 3-0 win over Lanco Premier (Lancaster, Pa.). Likewise, Canada's Adanac club added a second trophy to its mantel as the U19 Adanac team defeated Virginia's Peninsula Lightning (Glouster, Va.) for third place in the division.

The inaugural showcase event featured 56 teams from 12 sates and Canada in the three age group divisions.

A 220-acre facility in Lake Buena Vista, Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex plays host to more than 170 amateur and professional events each year including spring training for baseball's Atlanta Braves, training camp for football's Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Disney Golf Classic and college basketball's Old Spice Classic.
