South Africa and Zambia boys and girls teams have both qualified for the Youth Olympic Games to be held in Nanjing, China from 16-28 August this year.
In the qualifying tournament held at Lusaka, Zambia, South Africa won in both sections, and Zambia were runners-up, with Namibia finishing third in the girl's tournament and Kenya taking the third spot in the boy's competition.
In the finals, the South African girl's team beat Zambia 5-3, while the South African boy's team won 3-1. Over the course of the tournament, the Zambian girl's team posted the highest score when they defeated Kenya 17-0. Five teams contested the two top spots.
