The International Hockey Federation (FIH) announced The Steel Authority of India (SAIL) as the presenting sponsor for the Hero Honda FIH World Cup 2010, to be held in New Delhi, India from 28 February-13 March 2010.
FIH President Leandro Negre said, ÔÇ£It is a pleasure for us welcoming The Steel Authority of India to the International Hockey world. This is an inaugural partnership and an event of this magnitude requires strong support in order to deliver a world-class event.ÔÇØ

The present Indian hockey team will look to reclaim its past glory in the 12th edition of the tournament, this time on home turf. India will have to face stiff challenge from the 11 other competing teams, vying for hockey's biggest prize.
