Field Hockey Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Robin D'Abreo as the National Men's Coach. Robin was a member of Canada's National Team for over 13 years, after which he started his coaching career.
Over this period of time, Robin coached the UBC Men's Team, the BC Provincial team, Senior Club teams and has most recently been the Assistant Coach of the Canadian Women's Team.
Throughout his experience, Robin has maintained his passion for field hockey as he has progressively developed his coaching skills and perspective on the components for High Performance success. Robin will be following in the footsteps of Coach Alan Brahmst who will continue his ongoing leadership role with FHC, and will now focus his interest and skills on operationalizing the FHC High Performance and Development strategy at the FHC High Performance Round Table.
Canada Women's team welcomes Paul Bundy as Assistant Coach
Field Hockey Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Bundy as the Assistant Coach for the National Women's Team. Paul has had over 10 years experience in the Canadian Field hockey system, in addition to his recent posting at the Chatamhouse Grammar School, Ramsgate, England as the Director of Hockey and Physical Education Teacher. Paul brings a wealth of experience to the team with a keen interest in game technology and analysis.
In addition, Nick Sandhu will continue his role with the National Women's team and also assume the appointment of the National Junior Women's Team Head Coach.
