Registration for passes to the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games is now open at https://ticketing.buenosaires2018.com, where fans can apply for a Youth Olympic Pass.
The Pass gives free of charge access to the four Youth Olympic Parks and Stand Alone venues at Buenos Aires 2018.
The Pass contains a chip that will let spectators watch the best 4,000 young athletes on the planet in action. Bracelet holders will also be able to take part in a true cultural party: there will be more than 1,200 activities for the public to enjoy in the parks.
The online registration process to obtain the Youth Olympic Pass presented by Samsung is simple. You will only need to fill in some basic personal information. There will be hundreds of thousands of passes available with various pick up points.
Once the required information is complete, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address entered in the system. Pass pick up information will also be sent to that email address.
The Parks and the stadiums have a maximum capacity to make sure that Argentina’s first Olympic celebration is an unforgettable one. For that reason, a first come first served system will be in place, giving priority to those who arrive first.
The bracelet is mandatory to enter the Parks and stadiums. A system will be implemented for spectators from other parts of Argentina and abroad to pick up their Passes upon arrival in Buenos Aires.
In the case of families, one person can register up to three family members. In all cases – for people living in Argentina and abroad - an authorised third party will be allowed to pick up the passes.
Buenos Aires 2018 will be the first edition of the Youth Olympic Games in Latin America. There will be 4,000 athletes competing in 32 sports. Fans will be able to watch 286 sport sessions starting on October 7, the first day of competitions. In addition, the Youth Olympic Parks will be the stage for a historic cultural celebration with 800 educational activities and 468 sport initiation sessions.
