Field Hockey Canada is pleased to announce that it will organize a Pan AM Umpiring Seminar. The seminar will take place from 2 until 4 May 2008 in Victoria BC, Canada on the occasion of the WorldHockey Olympic Qualifier.
Want to take your umpiring to the next level? Then attending this seminar is an excellent opportunity for you to observe quality hockey teams and world class umpires in action. It is a must for all active male and female umpires who are working towards obtaining or have achieved their countries National Umpiring Accreditation Level, and would gain immense benefit from sharing and developing their knowledge about umpiring.
We are honored to have Jane Nockolds as our facilitator. Jane is an FIH Umpire's Manager who has recently been appointed to the Olympics in Beijing. She is a former FIH World Cup Umpire and currently holds the position of National Manager for Technical, Volunteers & Officiating with England Hockey. She is an outstanding, well respected and experienced presenter who will bring a wealth of knowledge and energy to the seminar.
The course is limited to 30 participants and we anticipate a full attendance. For administration purposes, the seminar registration will close on Friday 14 March 2008 (late registration will be accepted if any participants cancel and will be based on a first named waiting list with fee set at Standard Fee.)
