The Selection Committee of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has shortlisted the players from the training camp of Pakistan Women's Hockey Team for the Asian Games Qualifiers.
In the first phase 50 players appeared in the trials and 30 players were selected after one day trials at National Hockey Stadium.
The selected players are:
GOALKEEPERS: Rizwana Yasmeen, Maria Saeed & Saeeda Rehmat.
FULL BACKS: Zaib-ul-Nisa, Saba Saeed, Ishrat Abbas & Sanum Yousaf.
HALVES: Sana Gul, Saima Afzal, Sana Hanfi, Aasia Siddique, Amina Meer, Nadia Kazimi, Asima Ashraf & Sahil Malik.
FORWARDS: Zakia Gul, Razia Malik, Madiha Manzoor, Azra Nasir, Shahida Raza, Binish Hayyat, Unaiza Bashir, Nazia Rehmat, Uzma Lal, Aysha Rafique, Hina Kanwal, Rabia Qadir, Fakhra Nayyab, Sajida Shakoor & Bushra Nazir.
The Asian Games Qualifiers will be held from 22-29 May in Bangkok, Thailand. Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Chinese Taipei and Uzbekistan will take part in the event.
