Roelant Oltmans will coach the Dutch national men's team on a fulltime basis until the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The Dutch national hockey federation (KNHB) and Oltmans agreed that the coach will spend all his time coaching the national team and that he will stop his activities as technical director of the KNHB. The Top hockey department of the KNHB will take over the technical director job of Oltmans and will look for extra capacity at this department to replace Oltmans.
ÔÇÿWe found out that it is impossible to combine the two jobs', Oltmans stated. ÔÇÿEspecially because being national team coach and technical director are really two fulltime jobs.'
