The New Zealand men's team will play a three match series against the Junior Black Sticks at Crown Relocations North Harbour Hockey Stadium in preparation for the BDO World Cup Qualifying Tournament, starting 7 November 2009 in Invercargill, New Zealand.
The Junior Black Sticks side comprises most of the successful squad that finished fourth at the Junior World Cup earlier this year, plus three more experienced players from the New Zealand Men's Development squad. They are David Green and Isaac Staples (North Harbour), Jason Niles (Canterbury)
The matches will be played on Thursday 29 October, Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November.
