Musco Lighting has renewed its partnership agreement with the European Hockey Federation for the next four years.

ÔÇ£The announcement today of this extended partnership agreement with Musco Lighting is really excellent news for the whole hockey family in Europe. Musco Lightning's company philosophy is based on excellence in their field, an aspiration that is a core belief of the EHF in relation to our events,ÔÇØ EHF President, Leandro Negre, said.

ÔÇ£This partnership will not only assist the EHF with striving to achieve this goal but has the added dimension of offering free of charge one set of Musco Lighting lights to one Member Association per year for the duration of the four-year deal.ÔÇØ

Musco helps brighten Lithuanian hockey
Musco Lighting Europe Limited has donated an innovative sports floodlighting system to the Lithuanian Hockey Federation.

The lighting system was presented at the European Hockey Federation's 19th General Assembly in Vilnius, Lithuania in October 2005.

The inability of Lithuania being able to conduct hockey at night prompted Musco to donate the lighting system in recognition for the hard work of Leonardos Calikauskas, director of the Lithuanian Hockey Federation, for progress already made in developing the sport in Lithuania.

Calikauskas was delighted at Musco Lighting's contribution and commitment to improving facilities in areas with limited funding for sport recreation.

The donation has sparked interest from the Government of sports and representatives of Vilnius city, which will hopefully help promote the development of Lithuanian Hockey and in turn encourage grass roots sport at youth level.
