It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing away of Mr Frank Yeend, former President of Australian Hockey Association.
Frank was a great hockey man and a true gentleman, who made an enormous contribution to the sport of hockey.
His dedication and commitment to hockey throughout his life, was acknowledged by a number of awards, including, Life Membership of the Australian Hockey Association, Membership of the Order of Australia for services to hockey and the Order of Merit from the FIH.
Our thoughts are with Frank’s family at this very sad time.
