Emma Clarke, Ireland's centre midfielder was selected by her peers for the first ever ESB Player's Player of the year award while Eugene Magee, known for his speed and danger up front was selected by his colleagues on the Men's Irish team for this prestigious award.
The Senior Club Player of the year award went to Neil Lyons from Three Rock Rovers, for his consistent performance throughout the year while Railway's Jean McDonnell, scooped the ESB Senior Club Player of the Year for her numerous goals and outstanding performance in attack throughout the last season.
Leinster & Hermes player, Niamh Atcheler, was named the ESB U18 player of the year while teenage sensation Kyle Good won the U18's male category for his outstanding performance for Three Rock Rovers throughout a hectic season for his club.
Pembroke Wanderers Craig Fulton was awarded Coach of the Year. He coached the Men's XI team to a Irish Senior Cup and Irish Hockey League win this year while also overseeing the restructuring of the coaching throughout Pembroke's men's teams from 3rd XI - 7th XI.
Carol Metchette took title of Umpire of the Year, a deserved winner after her success at the Beijing Olympics. While Greenfields Fintan O'Flynn was awarded Development coach of the year. Leinster & Loreto's Sally Ann Fanagan scooped Volunteer of the year, while long serving hockey enthusiast, Grace Redmond received the President's Award for her outstanding services to Irish Hockey.
