New Zealand has joined England as the only other team with maximum points after two matches, by winning their match on day three of the BDO World Cup Qualifiers in Changzhou, China
After Pool A played matches on Thursday it was Pool B's turn today (Friday), with the Kiwis leaving nothing to chance by bursting out of the blocks from the opening of their match with Japan.
They led by four goals, the second time they have done that this tournament, before letting the Japanese back in the match late on with two goals.
Korea is the other team in a strong position in Pool B with a total of four points and currently sit outright second in the pool.
It turned out to be a very entertaining day's play, with 16 goals scored over the three matches, which included a six-goal thriller between the Chinese and the French, with the later equalizing with only two minutes remaining in front of the best crowd of the week.
Pool B now takes a day's rest, with Pool A back in action tomorrow (Saturday).
