Hockey India have announced the squad for the upcoming 7 match test series against Canada, to be played this month in Victoria and Vancouver. A Selection Committee consisting of 6 persons selected a 22 member squad for the three week tour after attending selection trials held in Pune.
The tour is part the Indian preparation for the Champions Challenge I, to be held later this year in Salta, Argentina, and also the long term build-up for the home World Cup, to be held in New Delhi in March 2010.
