Mary Logue has been named as Electric Ireland Irish Senior Women's Assistant Coach. Logue will join up with Darren Smith's Coaching Staff in Dublin this weekend to meet the International Players at a training camp in UCD and will take up her role with immediate effect.

Logue, an experienced former International herself with 153 caps for Ireland, has been working with the squad on an interim basis at World League 2 in Valencia in Smith's first official outing as Head Coach. Logue has also served as Head Coach of the Ireland U18 Girls from 2007 to 2009 and has been coaching Hermes Hockey Club in the Irish Hockey League for the past few seasons following a successful spell at UCD from 2008 - 2010.

Similarly Graham Shaw has been appointed as Electric Ireland Irish Women's U21 Coach. As well as looking after the U21s, Shaw will also operate as an Assistant Coach with the Senior Squad due to the continued development and future integration of both Senior and U21 squads.

Shaw has coached the Ireland U18 Boys in recent seasons as well as working with 2013 Electric Ireland Irish Hockey League Women's Finalists Loreto & completing a remarkable Men's IHL and Irish Senior Cup double as player/coach with Monkstown Hockey Club. Shaw is also a former Ireland International player with 151 Senior Caps.

Everyone at Irish Hockey wishes both Mary & Graham all the best in their new roles.
