View the Sahara WorldHockey Team Rankings - Women
Germany's women are the biggest movers after the latest release of the Sahara World Hockey Team Rankings.
After their gold medal performance at the Rabo Hockey Champions Trophy earlier this month, Germany has overtaken Australia and moved third position, just five points behind Argentina, who keep a narrow hold on second.
The Netherlands maintained their top spot after a bronze medal in Amsterdam, while Australia, who recorded their worst ever performance at the Champions Trophy, have slipped to fourth and trail Germany by a considerable margin.
China's silver medal at the Champions Trophy has drawn them to within reach of Australia with just 51 points separating the pair ahead of the Samsung Hockey World Cup in Madrid that starts on 27 September this year.
New Zealand hold onto sixth position but are now more than 400 points behind China. The Black Sticks will lose further ground due to their failure to qualify for the World Cup and will likely surrender their position to one of the chasing teams when the new rankings are released after Madrid.
