Germany and Austria sit at the top of the Men's Pools with The Netherlands and Germany leading the women's tables at the end of a pulsating day of action at the FIH Indoor World Cup in Poznan, Poland.
Men's Pool A: Germany, Netherlands and Poland looking strong
After two games, Germany sit at the top of the league table thanks to their 100% win record and incredible goal difference statistics. They have scored 29 goals and conceded just twice so far in Pool A of the competition. Their second victory of the tournament came with an 11-2 thrashing of Australia, which saw Thilo STRALKOWSKI claim a four-goal haul. Germany are closely followed by The Netherlands and Poland, who sit second only on goal difference. The Netherlands were in excellent form against Namibia, netting 13 times without reply, while the crowds turned out in their droves to watch Poland crush Canada 7-1.
Men's Pool B: Austria edge ahead
Austria remain unbeaten at the end of Day 2, having notched seven points from a possible nine by recording a comfortable 5-0 win against USA before drawing 1-1 with Czech Republic. Russia got the better of England 3-2, but came unstuck against an impressive performance from Iran who claimed their first points of the tournament to stay within touching distance of the leaders. There is still all to play for in this Pool.
Women's Pool A : Netherlands & Ukraine flying high
With 22 goals scored and just three conceded, it is little surprise that The Netherlands are top of Pool A. The reigning champions defeated Argentina 8-2 before battling past Czech Republic 5-1 to stay at the top of the leader board. European Champions Ukraine are also looking good, overcoming a strong challenge to defeat Austria 2-1 before recording a 4-1 win over Ukraine.
Women's Pool B: Germany & Belarus heading for Semis
Germany sit at the top of the Pool B table ahead of Belarus, although it is only goal difference that separates the two. Germany's huge 17-1 victory over Namibia was impressive, but Belarus's stunning 4-2 defeat of host nation Poland suggests that they are a team that could challenge for the silverware at this event.

Thursday (10th February) will witness another day crammed full of action packed games, with 18 matches taking place between 10am and 9pm (GMT +1). However, there has been a few changes to the playing schedule has been amended for equity purposes and to balance the broadcasting schedule.
On Thursday 10th February 2011, the match between England and Iran (Men's Pool B) that was due to be played on Pitch 2 at 13.45 will now take place on Pitch 1 at 15.00hrs. The match between Ukraine and The Netherlands (Women's Pool A) has switched from Pitch 1 at 15.00hrs to Pitch 2 at 13.45hrs.
There has also been a swap of pitches for the matches being played 17.30. The Australia versus Netherlands match (men's Pool A) will now take place on Pitch 1, with Belarus and Germany (Women's Pool B) contesting their game on Pitch 2.
The decisions have been made with the full approval of FIH Tournament Representative Leandro Negre and Tournament Directors Bjorn Isberg and Paula Parks, who stated: Having reviewed the match schedule, we think these minor changes make it more equitable for more teams to play on Pitch 1 and to therefore be on television.'
The changes mean that the England v Iran and Australia v Netherlands matches will now be televised and live streamed by the www.eurosportplayer.com (Europe) and www.laola1.tv (outside of Europe).
