IN Pool C, Grange HC suffered their second defeat heavy defeat in two days when German champions Berliner HC produced a fine display to triumph 8-0. That result followed a 13-0 thrashing at the hands of H.C. Rotterdam, with Berliner joining the Dutch giants in KO16.
Atlètic Terrassa and Royal Léopold THC have both qualified for Round 2 thanks to Atlètic’s 4-0 win over Izmailovo Moscow. It was the second defeat of the weekend for the Russians, meaning that they have finished bottom of Pool E and are therefore eliminated from this year’s competition.
