South Africa completed an unbeaten run through the women's preliminary rounds with a 5-1 win over Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations in Pretoria.
The result, coupled with the 1-1 draw between Namibia and Nigeria early in the day, means that South Africa and Ghana meet again in the final on Saturday.
South Africa were never threatened against Ghana and took a 3-1 lead into half time with goals to Candice Forword, Henna du Buisson and Dalean de Kock. The lead was extended further soon after the break with Tarryn Bright scoring twice in quick succession to end any slim chances of a Ghanian comeback.
Earlier, neither Namibia nor Nigeria could find a winning goal that would have lifted them into the final and had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The match looked like developing into an exciting contest after teams traded goals in the opening 15 minutes, but that was where the scoring ended.
The final will be played at 16:00 (South African time) on Saturday.
