The International Hockey Federation (FIH) can confirm that the host nation of the 2014 FIH World Cups will be announced on Thursday 11th November 2010. The announcement will take place at a specially arranged ceremony at the FIH Congress and Forum in Montreux, Switzerland, which will begin at 17.30hrs (GMT +1).
In addition, the Tournament Cycle for the next four years will be released at a ceremony that will also feature the signing of the new Memorandum of Understanding between the FIH and the Continental Federations.
As previously announced, the FIH received bid proposals from two European nations, with England and The Netherlands making strong cases to host events which will feature both the men's and women's World Cup tournaments.
