The International Hockey Federation (FIH) released the schedule of the BDO Champions Challenge, men last weekend. This event will be played in Antwerp-Boom, Belgium from 23 June until 1 July 2007 and features the following six teams: Argentina, Belgium, England, India, Japan and New Zealand.
The BDO Champions Challenge is an extremely important event for the six participating nations, as points for the WorldHockey World Ranking are at stake. Furthermore, the winner of the BDO Champions Challenge will be qualified for the Champions Trophy in 2008.
Tournament favorite India will open the BDO Champions Challenge against New Zealand on Saturday 23 June 2007. Other matches on the opening day are Belgium-Japan and England Argentina.
The six teams will play a single round robin tournament with the first two ranked teams qualifying for the final on Sunday 1 July 2007
