The International Hockey Federation is deeply saddened by the passing of Nicole Delaloye-Maye, who worked as Operations Manager at the FIH offices in Lausanne from 2005 until 2010.

“Everyone always knew that they could count on Nicole not just for her efficiency and organizational skills, but even more importantly, for her composed attitude and calm in any storm.” stated Leandro Negre, President of the FIH..”I think I am speaking on behalf of many of the hockey family when I say that we cherish the memories of the times spent together.”

A lifelong sports fan, as a teenager Nicole, competed in gymnastics at an international level representing Switzerland and later occupied many official positions for the International Gymnastics Federation, including Judge and Honorary Member. Additionally, Nicole was Secretary of the Committee for Lausanne’s Panathlon Club for many years and a fully certified Swiss Ski Teacher.

The FIH expresses its deepest sympathy to Nicole’s family.
