Doncaster will play cup holders Beeston in hockey's Men's Cup Final after causing an upset by beating Cannock in Sunday's semi final.
The England Hockey League (EHL) Conference North side scored three penalty corners to defeat Cannock of the EHL Premier Division team and four times winners of the Cup. Joe Morrison scored in each half with Andre Otten also getting on the score sheet to put Doncaster through to their first even Men's Cup Final.
Their opposition in the Final will be reigning holders Beeston who made it through to the final with a 5-2 victory over Premier Division rivals Hampstead & Westminster. The scores were tied at two apiece at half time but goals from James McBlain, Andrew Monte and Martin Jones ensured that Beeston made it through to their fourth final in as many years.
The Men's Cup Final will be held at Cannock Hockey Club in Staffordshire on Saturday 14 May at 5.30pm. Beeston and Doncaster met in the last eight of last season's competition with Beeston coming out 2-0 winners en route to winning the cup.
