To cap a memorable day for the veteran midfielder scored the opening two goals of the match ÔÇô both from penalty strokes ÔÇô as Australia overpowered Malaysia with a clinical second half display.
Livermore's wife Belinda was due on Sunday, the day Australia will play off for their third straight Commonwealth Games gold medal, but gave birth to their second daughter, Zoe, less than four hours before the Kookaburras took the field.
