Drag-flicker Diwakar Ram will lead an 18-member Indian squad for the FIH Men's Junior World Cup to be hosted jointly by Singapore and Malaysia from 7-21 June.

India has been drawn in Pool D with Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland and Singapore.

India open their campaign against Singapore on 8 June before taking on New Zealand the next day. They face Netherlands on 11 June and finish off their league engagement against Poland the next day.

India will leave for Singapore on 2 June and play two practice matches against Chile and Germany on 4 and 5 June.

A record 20 teams, drawn in four pools, will take part in the ninth edition of the tournament.

Matches will be played at Seng Kang Sports and Recreation Centre, Singapore and Taman Daya Stadium, Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
