The International Hockey Federation (FIH) would like to offer its congratulations to the city of Tokyo, which has been named as the host of the 2020 Olympic Games.
The capital city of Japan saw off challenges from Istanbul and Madrid to land the greatest show on earth at the 125th IOC Session in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It will be the second time that the Games will take place in Tokyo, with the city having previously hosted the 1964 Olympics.
Once again, the FIH offers the Tokyo team its sincere congratulations on winning the bid, and Hockey greatly looks forward to being part of what will be a wonderful event.
