Australia men's coach Ric Charlesworth has selected the Kookaburras and Australia A teams to take on Malaysia and Canada in a three nation/ four team series in Canberra from 29 July - 2 August.
The selected Kookaburras team will also take on Malaysia in a two test series in Adelaide from 25-26 July.
The Kookaburras squad includes the likes of youngsters Graeme Begbie and Simon Orchard who played well during the recent tour of Europe where the Kookaburras took on the likes of Germany, the Netherlands, England and France.
The Australia A team is also full of talent, with veterans Kiel Brown and Luke Doerner mixing well with up and comers including Jason Wilson and Leon Hayward.
ÔÇØWe are trying to build a deep squad and there is competition for positions, which is reflected in the squads we have selected,ÔÇØ said Charlesworth.
The Kookaburras will also play Canada in two matches at the conclusion of the four team series, with Charlesworth indicating the team could change in the lead up to these matches and the Oceania Cup in late August.
ÔÇØI expect that these teams could change for the final two matches against Canada and then again soon after as we finalize the squad to play in New Zealand for the Oceania Cup,ÔÇØ said Charlesworth.
