The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has dismissed the appeal of Pakistan's Muhammad Saqlain over the three-match suspension he received from the FIH Judicial Commission at the end of 2005.
As a result, the Pakistan captain's suspension will be served in the next three matches in which his team plays in an FIH world-level event.
In addition, CAS ordered Saqlain to pay costs of CHF 3,000 to the International Hockey Federation.
