Winning the ABN AMRO FIH Champions Trophy extended the ABN AMRO FIH World Ranking lead of Australia. The Kookaburras are ranked first with a 250 points lead over Germany.
England made the biggest improvement. The runner-up of the ABN AMRO FIH Champions Trophy moved to the fourth position behind Australia, Germany and Netherlands. Spain dropped one position to the fifth place. Korea is ranked sixth, New Zealand seventh and Pakistan eight. India remains ninth, while Canada entered the top ten.
