With just 99 days until the Rabobank Hockey World Cup explodes into action in the Netherlands, the 24 teams involved are preparing to challenge for the biggest prize in international hockey.

Over the coming weeks, we will meet the teams and hear about their hopes and fears. We kick off this series of interviews by entering into the lions den in Argentina. Las Leonas women are the reigning World Champions and ranked second in the world, and while Carla Rebecchi says she is 'Looking forward to going to Holland,' you have to wonder if the other teams are so excited at the prospect of meeting eight times player of the year Luciana Aymar and her super-skilled teammates.

The men's team are currently ranked 11th, and this was where they finished in the 2010 World Cup. However, recent performances at the Hero Hockey World League Finals suggests that Carlos Retegui's side cannot be underestimated. As captain Lucas Ray says 'Our worst opponents are ourselves.' If Los Leones men discover the self belief to match their flair with the ball, they could be a force to reckon with.
