At its 2013 Congress held in Mendoza, Argentina, the Pan American Hockey Federation elected a new President to replace Tony von Ondarza, President of PAHF since 1987.
23 National Associations took part in the vote. Argentina's Alberto Budeisky - known affectionately as "Coco" - was elected with 13 votes, in front of René Granat of Venezuela with 10 votes.
The PAHF Congress also elected four new Board members: Nicole Grant (Jamaica), Hector Motta Rios (Puerto Rico), Walter Kramer (Chile) and Herberth Lovo (El Salvador).
Derek Sandison (Canada) was re-elected as PAHF Treasurer.
