Below you can see who does what at FIH
Our staff are mostly based in Lausanne. Although with events and National Associations all over the world we are often travelling. When we are not working hard to deliver our strategy you can find us playing, watching and supporting hockey. To meet the team read on.
Jon joined the FIH in April 2018, returning to the sport he has played since childhood. A double Olympian from the Atlanta 1996 and Sydney 2000 Games, he has spent the last 15 years working in the Sports Marketing industry, working with sports organisations, sponsors and the media to raise the profile of sport and demonstrate its power to make the world a better place. Having worked across Olympic and Paralympic sports, football, rugby and many other professional sports, he is most excited about bringing this experience learnt from other sports to hockey as we continue to professionalise the sport and grow it across the world.
Diana oversees all the financial aspects of FIH and is responsible for the flow of financial information to the Chief Executive, the Board and, where necessary, external parties. She is also the Secretary for the FIH Finance Risk and Compliance Committee. With more than 20 years of experience in finance, accounting and banking, Diana’s favourite thing about hockey is the FIH hockey family.
Hilary works as Director of FIH Pro League & Olympic Games for the International Hockey Federation (FIH) having joined the FIH team in Lausanne in 2015 as Head of Event Delivery. Hilary, a retired hockey player has a wide range of international sports event & stakeholder management experience having previously worked at England Rugby 2015, Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the National Governing Body for Badminton in Scotland.

Clara joined the FIH in October 2024, bringing experience from her previous role at the Fédération Equestre Internationale. As Events Manager, she oversees the coordination of Pro League events and supports the management of multi-sport competitions, including the Olympic and Youth Olympic Games. Holding a bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management from the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, she values the principles of sportsmanship and enjoys contributing to the success of events.
Aurélie Vidot has a strong background in basketball, with experience as a referee in professional leagues in France and as an international 3x3 basketball referee. She transitioned from working in the international department of an insurance company to a role at FIBA, where she contributed to Referee Operations within the Events & Competitions department and supported National Federations and Sport initiatives. Her portfolio includes involvement in prestigious events such as Basketball Youth World Cups, Men's World Cups, Olympic Qualifiers, Youth Olympic Games, and the Olympic Games. Aurelie is now eager to expand her knowledge of hockey, a fast-paced and innovative sport with significant potential to engage diverse stakeholders.
Eduardo joined FIH in October 2016 after being the Sport Manager of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. His main function is to guarantee together with local organizing committees the best delivery of field of play to the teams and officials. What most impresses him about Hockey is the dynamics of the matches.
Cédric joined the FIH in January 2019, after working in football at UEFA. Passionate about all sports in general, it was with great pleasure that he took the challenge to embrace hockey in his daily life. As a Sport Manager, he mainly takes care of all the logistics around Officials and the tournament management system. What he enjoys the most in his role is to be close to the pitch, athletes and officials and feel the tension in the air whilst two teams are battling for the victory. What he likes about the sport is how skillful the players are as well as the power, the passion and the values of the hockey family.
Stéphanie has joined FIH in June 2015 as an Administrative Assistant within the Executive Office where she mainly provided administrative and logistics support to the CEO but also to the Executive Office Director and Head of Legal Affairs. She then joined the Sport and Events teams in 2017 as Sport & Events Assistant to provide administrative and logistical support across the departments. She is mainly involved on the FIH Quality Programme, contributes to the FIH Congress’ logistics since 2015 but is also involved on the organization of the FIH Committees meetings, Stars Awards and Officials’ kits and accommodation for the FIH Pro League. Prior to joining FIH, Stéphanie worked for a School Hotel Management in Montreux and for a Business law firm in Geneva.
Emma joined FIH in 2023 as the newest member of the Sport's team. She has had plenty of experience within the hockey world, from playing and coaching hockey, to managing teams, clubs and competitions. At FIH, Emma supports the Sports team, and is mainly involved in competition and tournament management and officials logistics. She is passionate about promoting and developing the sport that she believes has shaped the person she is today.
Nicolas joined the FIH in October 2018 after having been involved in sports and communications for more than 20 years. His experience includes various functions in communications at FIFA as well as at the French Football Association. In his role, Nicolas is overseeing communications and PR matters, including media relations, international relations, corporate communications and event communications. Nicolas enjoys the rhythm of the game and the skills of hockey players as well as the values of the sport.

Naïs joined the FIH Team in September 2019. She has previously worked as the Graphic Design Manager for Porte des Alpes where she was also part of the LOCs for the IFSC Climbing World Cup, Ski Mountaineering World Cup and the Special Olympics National Winter Games in Villars. As Design and Communications Manager, Naïs creates the branding for every FIH events, World Cups and projects. What she likes the most about hockey is the passion and the values of the hockey family.
Nishant joined the FIH in July 2018. He has previously worked as a sports journalist and Television Producer in India. His last assignment in India was with Star Sports where he worked as a Producer. He holds a Bachelor’s in Media Studies and Post Grad Diploma in Journalism and a MBA in sport administration and technology. Nishant has been FIH’s Social Media Manager since early 2020.

Mike joined FIH from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Sports Department in June 2018, having previously held roles with the FIH, England Hockey and with sport in the private sector. As a self-professed “hockey badger”, Mike has also been an active hockey volunteer in a wide range of roles for over 30 years. Mike is passionately committed to promote and develop hockey throughout the World.LinkedIn
André came to FIH with over 15 experience in Sport Education and Development, as researcher and manager. He was also an International Technical Official with several appointment as Tournament Director.
Harsimran joined the FIH in August 2013 and led the digital transformation of the organisation. He is in-charge for planning and executing the FIH IT strategy for Hockey Sport Data, Digital Products and Business IT. He has a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering and a MBA in Sports Administration.
Kaushik joined the FIH in January 2022 after successfully finishing his internship with the International Olympic Committee. He has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science along with a Master's degree in Sport Administration. He has previously worked with International Olympic Committee and as a Senior Business Analyst at the Accenture Technology Labs in Bangalore. At the FIH, he his responsible for all IT day-to-day operations. His role also includes assisting the Senior Technology and Digital Manager in all the IT and digital services projects.
As Finance & HR Manager, Adam assists the team with day-to-day financial operations as well as with some HR duties. He joined the FIH in 2019 following 4 years at PwC right after his studies.
In her role as Finance & HR Coordinator, Anamaria supports the team by handling daily financial tasks and human resources responsibilities.
Holding a Master of Sports Law, Laurent’s role at the FIH is to manage all legal and governance matters as well as advising on Anti-Doping issues. Laurent’s favourite thing about hockey is the intensity of the game that makes people feel strong emotions as well as the educational and social values conveyed through the sport.
Mélanie coordinates the logistics of FIH meetings and the FIH Congress. She also follows up with the FIH National Associations on governance matters. Prior to joining FIH, Mélanie studied International Relations in Geneva and was the Ceremonies Coordinator for UEFA at EURO 2012. Mélanie’s favourite thing about hockey is the gender balance of the sport.
Joined the FIH in March 2018, to coordinate Travel and Accommodation for the FIH Family. Worked on the Travel Industry since the last 15 years, I was in charge of organizing travels of Match Officials at the UEFA during the last 8 years. A fan of a lot of sports, what I like about Hockey in addition to the intensity of the game and the passion it gives to such many people around the world, is the fact that, as every other Team sports you will only be able to achieve a common goal by working / playing together.
