To support its expansive product range, TigerTurf has a network of highly-skilled construction and design partners, each of whom is able to extend the organisation’s industry-leading attention to detail to the installation and maintenance of its artificial turf products. TigerTurf partners and distributors provide sports and recreational synthetic grass surfaces to customers in over 85 countries.
Hockey products
All international matches, top club games, and the majority of other games of hockey are now played on synthetic surfaces. TigerTurf synthetic hockey products are fast and consistent, fostering skilful, dynamic hockey on safe, comfortable surfaces.
TigerTurf produces technical synthetic turf hockey turfs for two different systems: water-based turf and sand dressed turf.
Water-Based – TigerTurf WETT Pro is the ideal surface for elite and international level hockey matches.
Sand Dressed – TigerTurf's sand-dressed surfaces feature densely tufted, soft polyethylene texturised yarns or knit-de-knit polypropylene yarns, partly filled with rounded grains of sand.
As well as TigerTurf Australia being a major sponsor of Hockey Australia (which endorses TigerTurf’s hockey products). TigerTurf hockey products have featured in major tournaments across the world, including the FIH Woman’s world league, played on Harbour No 1 at North Harbour Hockey, New Zealand’s premier hockey precinct that features five TigerTurf hockey fields.
Two WETT Pro installations at the University of Birmingham in the UK are also set to host the hockey fixtures during the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
The FIH periodically reviews and updates the Standards that define the quality levels hockey turfs need to satisfy to become FIH Approved Product. To be an FIH Approved Product a hockey turf must fully comply with the current edition of our Standards (click here for details). Copies of the FIH Certificates of Approval and product test reports may be obtained from the hockey turf manufacturer.
