Forbex has been manufacturing high quality hockey turf for over 30 years and has been part of the FIH Quality Programme since 2004. In Argentina, home of the famous “Las Leonas” (four-time consecutive Olympic Medalists and two-time World Cup winners) and “Los Leones” (2016 Olympic Gold Medalists), they have manufactured and installed over 500 hockey pitches, proudly accompanying the game of hockey since its beginnings in Argentina. In addition, they have installed world-class hockey pitches on 4 continents, in countries such as Canada, Spain, Malaysia, and Mexico, among others.

In addition to manufacturing and installing hockey pitches, Forbex is also a FIFA Licensee and a supplier of World Rugby Regulation 22 compliant pitches, having installed pitches for some of the most prestigious clubs and National Federations in the world, such as the Argentina Football Federation and Boca Juniors

FIH Approved Products

The FIH periodically reviews and updates the Standards that define the quality levels hockey turfs need to satisfy to become FIH Approved Product. To be an FIH Approved Product a hockey turf must fully comply with the current edition of our Standards (click here for details). Copies of the FIH Certificates of Approval and product test reports may be obtained from the hockey turf manufacturer.
