Lausanne, Switzerland: Following the conclusion of the thrilling inaugural FIH Hockey5s World Cup Oman 2024, we are delighted to reveal the winner of the Poligras Magic Skill Awards, as voted for by hockey fans the world over.
From 10-18 February, fans have voted to pick the moments that really captured the magic of our sport in this award, presented by FIH Global Supplier Polytan. The shortlist for the Poligras Magic Skill Award featured six wonderful flashes of brilliance - 3 women’s and 3 men’s - that graced the turf during the fiercely competitive World Cups.
However, there could be only one winner in each category, with the Poligras Magic Skill Award going to Teresa Viana for her audacious reverse scoop goal in the women’s competition, and Ahmed Elganaini for his incredible dribbling skills leading to a crucial goal, in the men’s.
Huge congratulations to Uruguay’s Teresa Viana and Egypt’s Ahmed Elganaini on the success, and thanks to all fans for voting!
